Membership
There is an Annual Membership fee to join the choir. The forms can be downloaded using the blue button below, and can be emailed back to us at womeninharmonychoir@gmail.com or handed to a committee member in person at one of our rehearsals. Hard copies of the form are also available at regular choir rehearsals.
What does Women in Harmony Membership offer?
Ability to Join Our Gigs and Rehearsals
We do a number of non compulsory performances a year at local events run by TRC and other local community groups. We meet weekly for rehearsals, with additional opportunities for practice closer to more significant events and gigs. Once they have joined and paid their fees, members are covered for events under our Insurance.
Access to music and audio clips
Access to music sheets, word sheets and audio clips are available to support members learning of our songs. When songs in languages other than English are being learned we usually have the assistance of a native speaker who will correct our pronunciation!
Liaison with local community choirs and services
We have opportunities to work with other organisations and choirs around Toowoomba. Many of our members are also involved with a variety of other local choral and instrumental groups
Choir Management
The management of Women in Harmony is guided by a committee that meets once a month to ensure smooth running of the choir. The committee is composed of President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer with four other committee members. Elections are held annually at our AGM and positions are open to all financial members.
